Before We Worship

Dear Church,

I am delighted to announce that we are resuming in-person worship service this coming Lord's Day, March 21.

It is amazing that we have lived with the pandemic for a whole year! And with the exception of a few weeks in the Fall, we have not been able to meet together. I am grateful that we can begin to meet again, and hopeful that there will be no more setbacks.

As we meet together, we will continue to exercise preventive measures, such as mask-wearing and sanitization of our spaces. Wearing the mask has become such a contentious issue. But it need not be for people who follow the teachings of the Bible. Philippians 2:4 says, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Wearing the mask is a tangible act of love towards those in our congregation who are more vulnerable to the dangers of the virus, as well as a loving ministry toward those with concerns about returning to in-person worship service.

I invite you this Lord's Day to worship. May our good and gracious God nourish us through the ministry of Word, prayer, the bread and the cup, and through fellowship.

In Jesus,

Ken Han
