February 26 — 11 AM Worship

You can find the order of worship and songs here.

We confess our faith in "God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth." This is the very first line of the Apostles' Creed because God began his self-revelation in Genesis 1 with his creation of heaven and earth. The Heidelberg Catechism beautifully unpacks this line of the Creed. Our Creator is also the righteous and wise Ruler. Our Creator is also our Father. So we are assured: "I trust him so much that I do not doubt he will provide whatever I need for body and soul, and he will turn to my good whatever adversity he sends me in this sad world. He is able to do this because he is almighty God; he desires to do this because he is a faithful Father." Many Christians often do not think about the doctrine of creation outside the apologetical context when debating with unbelievers. But the doctrine of creation is so much more. It is the very bedrock upon which our confidence in God as our loving Father stands.
